On Saturday, March 18 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. I'll be hosting a launch party for The Things We Do That Make No Sense. The event will take place at The Richard App Gallery on Cherry in the East Hills neighborhood of Grand Rapids. Food and drink from Martha's Vineyard. And Schuler Books will be on hand to sell copies of the new story collection.
I'm excited to share that my next book, a collection of stories called The Things We Do That Make No Sense, will be published in the spring of 2017 by Switchgrass Books.
Switchgrass also published Haymaker, and I'm extremely grateful for their support these past couple of years.
Thanks to all for the support of Haymaker in the first few months since its release. A lot of events are being planned at bookstores and libraries, especially for the fall. Check out the "Events" link for more information.
The launch party for Haymaker was a tremendous success. Thanks to everyone who came out to say hi, buy some books, and enjoy the night.
As of today, Haymaker is officially on sale. It's been a journey of over ten years, and it's surreal and thrilling and humbling that it's finally out there on bookshelves. Thanks to the myriad people who've helped make it possible.
The official launch party for Haymaker will take place Saturday, April 25 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Richard App Gallery in Grand Rapids. We'll have food, drink, and a live reading, as well as copies of the book for sale.
With the upcoming release of my novel, Haymaker, in April 2015, I've revamped my website, creating a new look and new content. As publication approaches, I'll provide additional information on the novel itself, post reviews and interviews, and add details regarding events and appearances. Thanks for checking it out.
